There are golden sands and dramatic cliffs, nature reserves and elegant promenades along East Yorkshire's famous coastline. The county hosts endless outdoor activities such as sailing, bowling, shooting, golf, rowing and fishing while for the less energetic there's an abundance of stately homes to visit.

Top notch restaurants are a bit thin on the ground, however, the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds scenery is peppered with an abundance of picture postcard villages with duck ponds by the village greens, parish churches and charming village pubs, perfect for a traditional pub lunch.
