Following the high-profile success of Abstract in Inverness, the same team is now wowing Edinburgh's foodie crowd with its brand of top-end modern French cuisine. This sibling certainly looks the part, with its slinky piano bar out front and overtly luxurious dining room complete with all the 'de rigueur' trappings.

Chef Damien Rolian worked at the Inverness original and he subjects impeccably sourced Scottish ingredients to cutting-edge contemporary French treatment.
