The home of Michelin Starred restaurant, Adam Simmonds at Danesfield House, it was built in castellated Gothic style in 1899 and the present incarnation of Danesfield House just outside Marlow, is almost outrageously grand and stately, with its 65 acres of formal gardens graced by some remarkable topiary. It's even more jaw-droppingly impressive once you step over the threshold.
Adam Simmonds who cooked at Michelin-starred Ynshir Hall in Wales has headed up the kitchen for the last three years and has now been promoted to Executive Chef of the hotel's entire dining operation, which includes the Orangerie Restaurant, afternoon tea, banqueting and room service.
