Adam Street Restaurant Review

Built in 1769 by architect Robert Adam deep in vaults beneath The Strand, this is now a discreet hideaway and private members' club – although non-members are also welcome at lunchtime (although they are expected to pay a £10 cover charge).

What they can expect is a mix of safe-and-sound old English cookery with modern-day flourishes.
