Age & Sons Review

Not easy to find so look for a small archway by Number 4 York Street and you will discover Age & Sons, set in an old wine warehouse in Ramsgate and it is well worth the search for its highly rated seasonal British cooking. It's a family affair with Toby Leigh manning the stoves, sister Harriet Leigh is the general manager while parents Bertie and Helen work behind the scenes, although you may see the occasional guest appearance from Bertie as sommelier since he is the inspiration behind the exceptional wine list.

Toby's cv includes time working for Alistair Little in Notting Hill and Heston Blumenthal at the Hind's Head in Bray.
