Akari Review

Formerly an Islington boozer, Akari is north London's answer to a genuine Japanese 'izakaya'. There are reminders of the past in the big windows, high ceilings and long bar, but the Japanese influence comes into play with floral arrangements, old posters advertising Asahi and Kirin beer, and shelves of saké bottles.
