Akbar's Review

When it opened in 1995, this crowd-pulling restaurant seated just 28 people: now it caters for up to 200. Part of the attraction is the colourfully exuberant décor, which comes complete with a mock fountain, brazier wall lights and a tented ceiling in one of the jam-packed dining rooms.

The kitchen has no truck with new wave gestures.
