The original of a group of five enterprising Home Counties' gastro pubs, the Alford Arms is set in the tiny hamlet of Frithsden, surrounded by Ashridge National Trust Estate.

Local, free-range and organic produce are used to good effect and the seasonal menu divides up into 'small plates' (popular with the ladies who lunch) and 'main meals'.
