'Alloro' is Italian for bay leaf, and artwork depicting the pungent herb is dotted around this snazzy Mayfair restaurant. Overall, it has been fitted out in swanky, well-heeled style with modern colour schemes, low lights and dark wooden tables.

Born out of the same stable as Zafferano in 2000, it deals in carefully crafted regional dishes based on tip-top seasonal ingredients.
