Re-launched after a serious makeover, this stylish venue is now more restaurant than pub, although its front bar has sound credentials when it comes to real ales and such like. The yellow-painted, weather-boarded building is a distinctive feature of the Chelmsford scene - just a stroll away from the town's scenic walks.
