A likeable Italian restaurant and an unpretentious addition to Notting Hill's effervescent gastronomic scene, the Ark has established itself as a reliable neighbourhood address. It certainly comes into its own during fine weather, when tables on the front terrace are at a premium - although there's much to enjoy in the stylish dining room with its Roman blinds, painted panelling and skylights.
