Artisan Review

'Thyme for a change' quipped the local press as Richard Smith re-launched his 10-year-old fixture in a leafy Sheffield suburb just off the A57. The site formerly known as Thyme is now two venues under one roof: the ground floor is taken up with Artisan, a self-styled, in-vogue 'bistrot de luxe'; above it is Canteen which serves tasty good value menus, 3 courses, half litre wine and tea or coffee for only £20!

Artisan has a touch of French bistro-chic and the food makes much of its hand-crafted tag.
