Surprisingly situated above a re-born gastropub in a row of fashionable terraced houses, Assaggi pulls the crowds with its down-to-earth, unaffected style. Tall windows allow plenty of daylight into the dining room, which has been thoughtfully fitted out with plain wooden furniture and Rothko-esque canvases on its bright orange walls.
