Awana Review

Awana is currently moving to a central London location and will be re-opening in June 2012.

Awana is the chic new face of Malaysian cooking in London, brought to life with generous backing from the Malaysian government via the minister of tourism. The site once occupied by Zen Chelsea has been extravagantly transformed with a riot of native materials including batik silk and teak wood, as well as monochrome marble and banquettes of rich red leather.

The kitchen takes the big-hit flavours of Malaysian street food and tempers them with European style and polished presentation.
