True to its name, this bright modern restaurant was once Penzance's old bakery, and the original bread oven is still in place. The venue is spread over two floors, with original exhibitions by famous local artists filling the wall space and a semi-tropical, palm-filled courtyard for al fresco meals.
The kitchen keeps faith with local produce: seafood comes from Newlyn and the owners even 'catch their own' on nearby beaches; other supplies are procured from neighbouring farms where possible.
