Renowned Michelin star chef Daniel Boulud has opened a sister restaurant to his New York based French inspired bistro, called Bar Boulud in Knightsbridge's Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park hotel. The restaurant has its own entrance and is located in the basement of the hotel, designed by Adam Tihany it features a modern open kitchen, vaulted ceilings, stained oak tables and burgundy red leather banquettes, with wine inspired pictures adorning the walls.
Heading the kitchen is American Dean Yasharian who has worked with Boulud in New York for the past five years and Gilles Verot, one of France's finest charcutiers oversees house made terrines, pâtés, hams and saucissons.
