Beauberry House Restaurant & Bar Review

Beauberry House Restaurant is set in the exclusive area of Dulwich Village, a short train journey from Victoria Station. Entrepreneur Ibi Issolah made his name at L'Entranger, a high-class French joint in Kensington, but defected to the rural fringes of the metropolis in 2004. Not for him a predictable gastro pub; instead he set his heart and his sights on a tranquil Grade II-listed Georgian manor house overlooking the picturesque pastures of Belair Park.

After much renovation, the ground-floor bar is now wall-to-wall black, while the restaurant is wall-to-wall white with a shiny orange floor, orange chairs, mirrors and a remarkable light fitting that resembles a mature trailing vine.

The kitchen works to as seasonal menu that cleverly brings together French, Japanese and other Asian trends.
