The Bell started life as a seventeenth-century coaching inn and has recently undergone a stylish refurbishment by its new owners. 'An exceptional, peaceful and tasteful meal,' was one UK Restaurant Guide reporter's summing up of dinner at this elegant, charmingly run hotel near the east Suffolk coast.

The restaurant has built up a loyal following across East Anglia for its excellent dishes and it offers an extensive a la carte menu which changes frequently.
