Bell Inn Hotel Review

Retaining an exact replica of the original copper plated sign of the Inn, the 17th Century Bell Inn remains a fantastic example of a great British Coaching House with fabulous food and a traditional good humoured and efficient service, so often lacking in this modern day.

A vast history including being the Birth place of Stilton Cheese and a list of famous guests such as Dick Turpin, Lord Byron, and Clarke Gable, the Bell Inn has managed to combine a traditional Coach-house atmosphere with a light modern touch of furniture and crisp table linen to create a beautiful quaint restaurant still preserving its 17th Century interior.

Diners can also enjoy a less formal meal in the stone-floored "Village" bar area or a summer's evening eating Al Fresco in the "Courtyard".

It's not difficult to see why travellers for over 4 centuries have stopped at The Bell and why now, so many guests return again and again to sample the Modern British Cuisine of this award-winning restaurant.
