Perfectly located just across the bridge from Canary Wharf, this converted 200-year-old listed warehouse is a breath of independent fresh air among the legions of chain restaurants in the neighbourhood. It has been glamorously out in shades of turquoise and black, with 1930s features, a curved marble and granite bar, oyster-shaped tables and a vast waterside terrace for al fresco meals and barbecues.
Oysters, Champagne and - of course - caviar are the mainstays, but the kitchen serves up all sorts of market-fresh seafood and shellfish platters to an eager and hungry crowd.
