Bincho Yakitori is a deliberately casual Soho venue peddling Japanese food in its most accessible, easy-to-eat and unthreatening forms - Bincho Yakitori is the name and also the main gastronomic attraction: 'Bincho' refers to the finest grade of charcoal used by the 'ganko ojisan' (self-styled 'keepers of the flame').
The kitchen boasts five showpiece grills, and diners can sit at the bar and watch the dramatic spectacle as chefs do their thing, skewering, basting and turning hundreds of little sticks at a time.
