A once-aging local boozer in the Norman village of Writtle (a couple of miles from Chelmsford) has been stylishly transformed into the Blue Bridge - a flashy in-tune venue that combines a restaurant and a piano bar offering regular live music sessions.
Inside, the restaurant has been totally transformed, with wood floors, potted greenery and shimmering green wallpaper.
