The Boathouse Review

The name is apt, since the Boat Race crews launched from this building in 1944 when the event was staged outside London during the war years. Nowadays, it's a contemporary eating place with a terrace overlooking the Ely town reach of the River Ouse.

Wood floors, simply laid black tables and white-painted brick walls create a clean-cut look, and the kitchen cooks to a modern British menu.
