Bonds Review
A Victorian banking hall in the financial heart of the City is the setting for Threadneedles, a 70-room boutique hotel with Bonds, a fine restaurant sporting an apt monetary moniker since it is just a few hundred yards from the Bank of England and The Royal Exchange.
The dining room cleverly brings together nineteenth-century solidity with twenty-first century metropolitan chic, and Barry Tonks' food does the place full justice.
