The Cameron Restaurant, Bourne Hall Country House Hotel Review

Built in the 1860s for one of Queen Victoria's ladies-in-waiting, Bourne Hall occupies a lovely spot outside Shanklin Old Village, at the foot of the Luscombe Downs. It also boasts three acres of gardens overlooking Sandown Bay.

The elegant Cameron Restaurant, named after the famous Victorian photographer Julia Margaret Cameron, who lived on the island in the 1860's makes the most of the location, with delightful views from its big windows.
