This bistro-style restaurant occupies a one-time Conservative club just off the ring road near the station. Inside, the split-level dining room buzzes with customers. Value-for-money is one of its great assets, especially if you go for the fixed-price 'Prime Time' menu, which includes a half-bottle of wine. Whatever the choice, you can look forward to skilful modern cooking with a leaning towards the Mediterranean.

You might begin with chicken, cherry tomato and olive salad or basil and red pepper tart.
