The team behind the hugely successful Pig's Ear in Chelsea (including executive chef Ashley Hancill) recently took this local boozer under their wing, and have transformed the 150-year-old building into a thoroughly decent gastropub without too many airs or graces. 'Unfussy' sums up the interior, which has mismatched furniture, etched glass windows, blazing fires and eye-popping Tom Dixon copper lampshades dangling from the dark red ceiling.
