Set up by crown prince of oriental restaurants in London, Alan Yau's Busaba Eathai mini-chain has proved to be a huge hit with its authentic canteen-style Thai food. His winning formula is simple: shared tables, bench seating, modish design and a menu that won't challenge your bank balance. Decibel levels can be ear-shatteringly high, but the animated atmosphere and full-on flavours make amends.
