Since opening, the Busaba Eathai mini-chain has really hit the jackpot with its authentic canteen-style Thai food. Set up by restaurant impresario Alan Yau, it works to a simple, but winning formula: shared tables, bench seating, modish design and a menu that won't challenge your bank balance. Decibel levels can be ear-shatteringly high, but the animated atmosphere and full-on flavours make amends.
