Steve Bothwell opened this splendid little eatery in 1995 and it's now a focus of the action around The Green - Aberdeen's rejuvenated social hub. Café 52 is an earthy, warm, slightly 'wholemeal' kind of place that delivers honest seasonal food at crunch-busting prices.
Easy-going lunches focus on soups, groovy sandwiches and a handful of more filling options such as pork and sage meatloaf with homemade piccalilli or beef burgundy with dauphinoise potatoes.
