The koala bear logo is about as near to Oz as you are likely to get in this elegant contemporary venue housed in one of Jesmond's top hotels close to the Metro station.
The traditionally designed main dining area has a mood of old-style elegance, and there's a large forecourt split into two areas, which is popular for al fresco eating and drinking.
Despite the name, the food is a long way from 'down under'.
