Like its award-winning elder brother in Spitalfields, the Festival Hall branch of Canteen goes all out to fly the flag for Bulldog British food as it used to be – complete with a hefty dollop of nostalgia on the side.

The location is a dream, right in the heart of the regenerated Royal Festival Hall complex overlooking re-landscaped Southbank Centre Square.
