'Chada' is the name of the traditional headpiece worn for performances of classical Thai dance drama, and this branch of the long-serving Battersea original is suitably kitted out with authentic artefacts, ornaments and floral displays. It's a cosy little place tucked next to Selfridge's and it does a good line in express one-hour lunches for shoppers and tourists.
The full menu trawls its way exhaustively through the classic repertoire, and the open kitchen turns out familiar satays, hot-and-sour salads, stir-fries and curries alongside a few more intriguing specialities (especially seafood).
