Chez Bruce Review

Opened in 1995 to much acclaim, Bruce Poole's eponymous restaurant continues to shine with its top-class, if a touch idiosyncratic, modern cooking. A colourful frontage looks out onto Wandsworth Common and the décor has been revamped a few times, although it still feels comfortably relaxed.

Influences from Italy and France show up across Bruce's daily-changing menus, although the approach is very distinct: old-fashioned daubes and braises appear alongside simple grills and inspired contemporary ideas.
