City Café Review

Ideally situated next to the International Convention Centre and Symphony Hall, Birmingham's Hilton Garden Inn is an ideal spot for business or pleasure. The hotel's City Café also plays its part as a venue for working lunches, family get-togethers and romantic meals on the terrace.

The kitchen delivers broadly based European brasserie food along the lines of confit of duck with lentil dressing, salmon and dill fishcakes with grain-mustard sauce and braised lamb shank, followed by banana tarte Tatin with honeycomb ice cream or baked apple charlotte with blackberry compote and treacle syrup.
