Corsewall Lighthouse Hotel Review

Built onto the side of a working nineteenth-century lighthouse at the end of a single-track road, this unusual hotel affords superlative views of the Kintyre Peninsula, the Firth of Clyde and Ailsa Craig. The lighthouse itself is a Grade A-listed building set in 20 acres of grounds, and visitors are welcome to view the scene from its galleries.

The restaurant is a cosy room with a dark-blue lighthouse motif carpet, lace-topped tables, a blazing open fire and a flotilla of model ships on display.
