Like its flagship elder brother in Primrose Hill, this branch of Cottons pleases the punters with its animated tropical vibes and punchy Caribbean food. Inside, it is divided up into a lush lounge bar, which gives way to the evocatively decorated dining area.
The menu promises lots of colourful specialities with bold flavours and contrasts: there's sweet potato and callaloo tart with coconut crème fraîche, Boston jerk pork with yams, rice and peas, 'coq au rhum' and grilled whole snapper topped with garlic lime butter, fried plantain and roasted pumpkin wedges - as well as salt cod fritters, legendary curried goat and lots of sweet stuff such as candied ginger and lime brûlée to round things off.
The effervescent Rum Jungle Bar in the basement is famed for its energetic atmosphere, cool reggae sounds and an awesome collection of more than 150 rums from around the world.
