Set in six acres of landscaped grounds including a waterfall, rose walk and even a dog's cemetery, this magnificent listed manor is now a country house hotel much favoured as the setting for weddings and conferences.

The interior is unashamedly opulent, with a sweeping staircase and majestic ballroom. By contrast the Bokhara Brasserie is decidedly cosmopolitan: warm terracotta, red and orange colours set the tone and provide the perfect backdrop for a menu that gives equal billing to India and the Med.
