The Crown at Celtic Manor Resort Review

A world-class destination with sprawling leisure facilities on a grand scale, Celtic Manor Resort is set in 1400 acres of panoramic parkland in the Usk Valley. It comprises two hotels (the Resort and the original nineteenth-century Manor), a convention centre, exhibition hall, championship golf courses, spas, function rooms and a plethora of eating venues.

Its new flagship restaurant is the result of a tie-in with the Michelin-starred Crown at Whitebrook and the menu is overseen by its chef James Sommerin - although the day-to-day cooking is in the hands of Tim McDougall.

Diners can relax with in the luxurious lounge bar before proceeding to the intimate dining room, where American walnut floors, Wenge wood wall-screens and white Carrera marble accents set the luxurious tone.
