Chef Paul Laidlaw looks to local producers for ingredients and the cooking is modern yet simple in style with the well-balanced menu including popular dishes like Yorkshire ham-hock terrine with chorizo quince and thyme dressing, roast butternut squash veloute, haunch of local venison celeriac, roasted pear, rosemary glaze or roasted monkfish, scallops & mussels simmered in a coconut lime and chilli broth, bok choi stir fry.
