The Dartmouth Arms Review
The original Dartmouth Arms was built next to the old Croydon Canal around 1815 and served beer and tea for the travellers; today, the current building stands right by Forest Hill railway station and provides an equally valuable service for today's commuters.
Following a major refit in 2004, the pub was re-launched with serious gastronomic intentions: a new dining room and kitchen have replaced the old lounge, but the drinkers' bar is still intact.
