An imposing eighteenth-century hunting lodge overlooking Long Sutton village green is now the setting for this rather grand gastropub-cum-restaurant. Behind the many-gabled stone façade, visitors will discover a pleasantly hospitable bar and dining room done out in contemporary style with sturdy wooden tables, wood floors and plush leather sofas.
Lunch is a straightforward affair, with robust offerings such as smoked chicken sandwiches, ploughman's, fish stew and char-grilled beef salad as mainstays of the menu.
