Built as a Georgian country residence in 1725, the Drawing Room can be found alongside the A470, 'twixt Cwmbach and Newbridge-on-Wye'. Colin and Melanie Dawson have injected some new life into the place and it's now a very desirable, sumptuously attired restaurant-with-rooms.

The owners are also the chefs and they work to a short seasonal menu that blends Welsh ingredients with noticeable French influences.
