Set in extensive grounds and well-tended gardens less than a mile from the centre of Inverness , this fine Italianate mansion inhabits its own cosseted world of seductive opulence and traditional hospitality. Inside it feels comfortingly homely, with leather settees, log fires and antiques adding to the mood.
The hotel's kitchen garden provides abundant soft fruit, vegetables and herbs, which find their way into many of the dishes offered in the restaurant.
