Aussie boys Jeremy 'Zim' Sutton and Andrew Veevers have done great things at this reborn Clerkenwell boozer. You'd never guess that the old place had a seriously dodgy reputation as a strip joint and gangsters' hangout: these days it is all clean and tidy, with pretty retro wallpaper, chunky tables, lots of light and space and a general mood of easy-going bonhomie.
The menu is written on a blackboard behind the bar and it's a daily assortment of Zim Sutton's own ideas, based around keenly sourced ingredients.
