Opened in 2004, the Everest Inn isn't a pub but a family-run neighbourhood restaurant specialising in Nepalese cuisine – with a supporting cast of well-known dishes from the traditional Indian curry house repertoire.
Our advice is to by-pass the familiar dopiazas and bhunas in favour of specialities like momo (steamed lamb dumplings with tomato chutney), hansh bhutuwa (duck cooked with green herbs and spices) and aloo bodi tama (potatoes, bamboo shoots and black-eyed beans with fresh coriander).
