The owners of the high-ranking Fairyhill Hotel in Reynoldston recently set up this brasserie in the clubhouse attached to the prestigious Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course at Machynys. It's a superb setting, with glorious views across the fairways to the Loughor estuary and the Gower Peninsula.

Much time, effort and money has been lavished on the interior, which boasts luxurious leather sofas, swathes of wood and an abundance of slate.
