Fakhreldine Review

A glamorous fixture of Piccadilly's restaurant scene for a good many years, Fakhreldine takes its name from an eighteenth-century Lebanese prince. A sexy makeover has recently transformed the place out of recognition: modern design, shades of muted grey and stained oak now blend with traditional ethnic artefacts in the main dining room, which is noted for its clubby atmosphere and fine views over Green Park.

The menu explores the full range of casual meze with a few fashionable twists, including deep-fried squid with sesame and pine nut dip, hummus made fragrant with orange blossom water and tabbouleh with green apple, as well as lamb and pomegranate sausages.
