The Falling Stone Review

The village is pronounced 'Twing' although not everyone agrees on this, and this brick-built pub (formerly the Rampant Horse) gets its unlikely name from a meteorite which plummeted from the skies and landed in these parts many moons ago. Situated in the northern reaches of the East Riding, some eight miles from Driffield and Bridlington, it still operates as a local watering hole and is now famous for its draught beers from the Wold Top Brewery (a micro-outfit operating from a farm a few miles away).

Inside, the place divides up between a traditional bar done out in classic style and a more modern, conservatory-style dining area decorated with pictures of street scenes.
