Situated directly opposite Dorridge BR station and within striking distance of Birmingham NEC and the Airport, The Forest started life in 1870 as a railway hotel of the old school. Some of the ornate Victorian architecture remains, but a recent facelift has catapulted it well and truly into the modern world, and it now embraces a trendy bar and a brasserie-style restaurant complete with mirrors, bare tables and laminate floors.
The kitchen works to a lively menu of up-to-the-minute dishes driven by the seasons.
